Preparations for the centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa will speed up next week (21/22 May) when competitors gather at Spa-Francorchamps for the official Prologue.

Taking place a little over a month before the main event (26–30 June), the two-day test will see cars on-track throughout Tuesday 21 May and Wednesday 22 May. On both days, they will run from 09:00 until midday, and again between 13:00 and 18:00.

Each team entered in the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa must be present with at least one car, meaning some 65 GT3s will take to the track. This is especially good news for fans, as entry to the Prologue is completely free on both days.

For those who wish to attend the main event, the Prologue will provide an opportunity to purchase tickets for the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, with a sales and information point located in the paddock, behind the main building of the F1 Pit Lane.

There's more. Following positive public feedback last year, the Pit Café will return with live broadcasts on the GTWorld YouTube channel after each day's track action. There is a major development for 2024: in addition to the French version at 18:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday, an English version will be broadcast at 20:00 on both days.

The menu for these shows includes a look back at the day's track activity, interviews with key figures, new behind-the-scenes reports, a presentation of the centenary edition, and more. The Pit Café can be watched live or via replay on the GTWorld YouTube channel.

For those impatiently counting down the days before the centenary edition, head to Spa-Francorchamps next week for a taste of what’s to come at the Belgian endurance classic.
