After 4 hours of sales conducted at a cracking pace by the Aguttes on Wheels teams, the 2024 Autumn Sale is making a further mark on the world of collector cars in Europe.
With a sale rate of 74%, collectors and enthusiasts once again responded, propelling the sale to almost 5 million euros.

From the very first auction, in a packed room, collectors did not miss the opportunity to acquire rare pieces, such as the Alpine A108 Cabriolet, which reached more than double its high estimate at €95,780!
This was followed by the €162,532 achieved by the 1948 Tatra 87, initially estimated at €85,000 and €125,000, and the €202,000 for the iconic Citroën DS 21 M Cabriolet, also exceeding its high estimate.

The undisputed star of the sale, the Rolls-Royce Prototype “Jules” from the 1981 Paris-Dakar race soared to €596,420, once again making headlines! Legendary, it is writing a new page in its history with the panache that is recognized in those that have achieved iconic status…

Alongside it, the Aston Martin DB5 and the Aston Martin DB6 reach €742,600 and €262,600 respectively, high prices given the turbulence that the Aston Martin market has been going through in recent years.

In a completely different register, racing cars appeared in large numbers in the catalogue. The Lotus Eleven S1, the oldest in Colin Chapman's Legacy collection, changed hands at €167,300, while the Jaguar E-Type Semi-Lightweight, winner of three Tour Auto races, broke a new auction record by reaching the highest bid ever for an E-Type of this type at €345,000.
The €185,000 achieved by the high-performance Chevron B19 positions our department even more in the very advanced sector of competition cars.

Modern cars were not left out with some great auctions for a Ferrari 550 Maranello at over €125,000, the Audi Quattro sold for €57,600 and the Aston Martin Vanquish S.at €107,000.

Alongside them, it is interesting to highlight the attractiveness of the market for original cars such as the Poncin VP 2000 which once again doubled its high estimate at over €26,000, the Ferves Ranger 4x4 at over €36,000 and a 4-seater Citroën Méhari, not far from tripling its estimate at €24,000.

Cultivating its differences from the market leaders, Aguttes on Wheels would like to thank all those who visited them during these 3 days of exhibition.
More than ever attached to the proximity that Aguttes on Wheels favors in its exchanges and to the greatest transparency in all of its transactions, this sale crowns months of work.
