Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific customer team seven x seven Racing makes its highly anticipated debut in Super GT this weekend at Okayama International Circuit, competing in the GT300 category.
This event will also mark Porsche’s first appearance in Japan’s most competitive GT championship since 2021. The marque’s highlight in Super GT was securing the GT300 class crown in 2012 with Kyosuke Mineo and Naoki Yokomizo.
The Japanese outfit have named a strong driver line up with two-time Super GT300 champion Kiyoto Fujinami joining multiple Porsche Carrera Cup Japan winner and GT World Challenge Asia driver Tsubasa Kondo.
The duo has already started 2025 on a high, winning on the squad’s maiden Super Taikyu outing, alongside Bankcy at Okayama, taking a stunning lights-to-flag victory during the four-hour enduro.
As well as Super GT and Super Taikyu, including Fuji 24 Hours, seven x seven Racing is also competing in Japan Cup, Porsche Carrera Cup Japan and Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East, extending their partnership with Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific.
The 2025 Super GT calendar sees the championship race at the best tracks in Japan and, for the first time since 2019, will head outside of the county to visit the popular Sepang International Circuit in June.
