WTCC:

Youngster Peter Terting, who is supported by Audi, celebrated his first win in the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) at Puebla (Mexico). The 21-year-old German also shone on the slippery track with the second best time in qualifying.

But due to an engine change in his SEAT Toledo Cupra, the former Audi driver was penalized ten positions on the starting grid. From 12th position, Terting made it to seventh place in the first race. In the second heat, he took the lead immediately after the start and defended it until the finish line. Rickard Rydell completed the SEAT success with a third place in the first race.

Dutch driver Tom Coronel won the privateers cup in both races with his Toledo.
