...... at the Stade de France
Renault, recently crowned 2005 FIA Formula One Constructors' and Drivers' World Champion, has announced its partnership with the 2005 Race of Champions - Nations Cup, on December 3rd at the Stade de France in Paris.
For the first time in the history of the Race of Champions and the Stade de France, and to celebrate its titles, the Formula 1 World Championship-winning team will make a dynamic demonstration on the track. The Formula 1 car and its V10 will roar one more time for all the spectators.
Megane Trophy racecars will take part in the competition that will decide who becomes the 2005 Champion of Champions from the different worldwide motorsport categories, after hard-fought battles on the parallel-track designed inside the stadium.
Patrick Faure, Renault F1 Team President: “We are proud to be a partner of the 2005 Race of Champions. After the Renault F1 Team's World Championship victories and the popular success of the Megane Trophy races during the World Series by Renault, it will be an excellent way to finish the year: It will offer a good show to the public, to Renault's employees and to the dealer network, who are associated to the event.
"The current Champion of Champions, Heikki Kovalainen, is a member of the Renault family through our Renault Driver Development programme!"
