Week 17, 22 - 28 April 2006
Live For The Day
The second round of the 2006 British Touring Car Championship crosses the Irish Channel to the Mondello Park circuit in Ireland. And Motors TV is there for all the BTCC action, live. Once again, the day sees three BTCC races, all live and all guaranteed to provide fantastic racing, thanks to the grid structure. The finishing order from the first race chooses the grid for the second, while the top ten finishers are reversed for the start of the third race. Alongside all three BTCC races, Motors TV will show the support races live, including the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Formula BMW.

Live The Dream
Hot off the back of the UK’s most frantic race action comes the outstanding Australian V8 Supercars, with the second round from the Pukekohe circuit in New Zealand. Pukekohe sees the first time the field will use the reverse grid system in the V8 series and reaction to this has been mixed. But one thing is for sure – the action will be frantic as the faster drivers battle back to the front. Motors TV will be showing highlights of Saturday’s race, before showing Sunday’s two races, as live, immediately afterwards.

Ride On Time
The third round of the 2006 World Superbike Championship comes from Valencia, one of the iconic circuits for the series. Going into the event, Australia’s Troy Baylis on the Ducati leads British rider James Toseland on the Honda by just one point, while another Australian, Troy Corser, rounds out the top three, on the Suzuki. As well as the Superbike race, Motors TV will also show highlights of the SuperSport category and as ever, the action will be followed by SuperBike TV Mag, looking behind the scenes of the weekend’s racing.
