Ok official PR release below - so go and buy the game to justify the PR:
Midland F1 Racing Team today took on a new recruit in the form of Keeley Hazell, the top British model and new face of Formula One™ 2006 for PlayStation® 2. She set the Midland F1 Racing Team’s engines firing on all cylinders as she teamed up with both drivers Christijan Albers and Tiago Monteiro, as well as Sporting Relations Manager and former British GP winner Johnny Herbert to launch the new game. Keeley Hazell recently entered the world’s most glamorous sport via the fast lane as Sony Computer Entertainment presented her as the new female face of FORMULA ONE ™ 20 06 for PlayStation 2. “This is the first timeI have been to a Formula One race and being here at the British GP to launch the new Formula One 2006 PlayStation 2 game is very exciting. The chance to get so close to the action and be part of the most glamorous sport in the world was one opportunity I wasn’t going to turn down!” said Keeley. With World Cup fever gripping nations around the globe, MF1’s race drivers and Herbert injected an element of football flavour by sporting their national football shirt as part of a playful photo call.
Both MF1 drivers’ names and their respective car numbers were featured on the back of the shirts – number 19 for Albers and number 18 for Monteiro. Herbert’s shirt number provided the perfect testament to his winning drive at the 1995 British GP driving the number 2 Benetton Formula One car. “By wearing our countries’ football shirts today we’re demonstrating some national pride and passion for our drivers and team. Keeley’s support today has definitely added extra motivation to our garage, not only for the drivers but the whole team – especially the mechanics!” said Johnny Herbert. FORMULA ONE 2006 for PlayStation 2 and PSP® (PlayStation Portable) are the only official games of the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship™, exclusively licensed by Formula One Administration Ltd. The game features all of this season’s drivers and cars sporting their official sponsors’ livery.
Formula One fans will experience first-hand non-stop action driving the 18 circuits from around the world including Sakhir in Bahrain, Monte Carlo, Silverstone, Shanghai and Interlagos – all the races at your fingertips for the maximum F1 thrill. FORMULA ONE 2006 for both PlayStation 2 and for PSP will hit the shops in July at a suggested retail price of £39.99 for the PlayStation 2 version and £34.99 for the PSP game.
