Russia's new hope, 15-year-old Sergey Sirotkin prepared for the first race of the Ferrari supported Formula Abarth 2011 Championship (to be held at Vallelunga next week) with an authoritative display.
Sirotkin was comfortably the youngest driver to finish in the top 6 but also drove the least laps from anyone else in the field.

Sirotkin commented: "This has been a productive test and we learnt much about the car, tyres and circuit. For sure we could have gone even faster in the afternoon at the end of the session when the track cooled down but we had the red flag there plus every time I arrive to start fast lap slow cars leave the pit, nevertheless I am really looking forward to the race next week and trust we can carry this form into the Championship.
