23 July Silverstone Classic sale Auctioneer Jonathan Humbert has joined the Silverstone Auctions team for the 23 July sale during the Silverstone Classic race weekend.
Coming from five generations of auctioneers, Jonathan’s own Northamptonshire auction business is also based near Silverstone. Jonathan, who has presided over the sale of important motor cars from Aston Martin to Rolls Royce, rare automotive items and has a heritage in military memorabilia, will take to the rostrum to offer around 50 automobile lots during the sale at Silverstone Circuit.The charismatic Jonathan will present cars ranging from a 1926 Fiat 503B two-seater open tourer estimated between £8,000 and £12,000, to the Formula One car that gave James Hunt his first Grand Prix win in 1975, expected to achieve around £475,000.
