GT news from Lister & driver opportunities

We can today confirm that Nathan Kinch will stay with the Lister team for 2004 for a busy season in both the LMP and GT Storms - this means a total of 23 races between March and November for Jamie, Nathan and the rest of us!

British GT

Jamie and Nathan will be driving the new Lister Storm GT in. this 're-vamped' Championship.  There is also an excellent opportunity for a drive in a second Storm from the team that has won more British GT races than any other team - we would like to encourage new drivers into GT racing and so are able to offer competitively priced packages.  With us, a driver can progress from this Championship, to the FIA GT and Le Mans/LMES - Jamie joined us in 1999 when he won the British Championship, in 2000 he won the FIA GT Championship and now he is rated as one of the top professional drivers in GT and Sportscar racing.

FIA GT - 2 Storms confirmed

Two Storms are confirmed for the 11 races of the 2004 FIA GT Championship which this year includes two overseas venues - Dubai and China.

As expected, Jamie will lead the team of drivers; this year he will be partnered by Paul Knapfield who rejoins Lister Racing after a break of a year.  The drivers in the other Storm will be Nathan and Toto Wolff.  Toto is new to the GT class of the FIA Championship but had excellent results in a Porsche in the N-GT class in 2002.  He has already been on the podium this year - in the Brazilian Mil Milhas race at Interlagos last month.

One of these Storms will be new but both will be upgraded to 2004 specification with modified front suspension and 2004 engines. In addition to these two Storms there is a possibility of a third car in the Championship.
