The debut of the Dams team’s Lamborghini in the international FIA GT championship with drivers Andrea Piccini and Jean Denis Deletraz will be in a few months.

The Ebimotors Team decided to take advantage of Andrea Piccini’s free schedule and asked him to participate in a few rounds of the Italian GT championship on board the Porsche 996 GT3 RSR - Porsche Haus of Milan has given this car to the team from Ceremenate (Como-Italy).

The Tuscan driver has enthusiastically accepted this new challenge. Luca Riccitelli will be his team-mate in the upcoming race in Magione - the agreement will probably be extended to other races that are compatible with Piccini’s FIA GT schedule.

“When the Ebimotors Team made me the offer to race in Magione, I immediately accepted with great eagerness. The Magione race will be my debut in the Italian GT championship and I’m very happy that I will have the chance to start this experience with a well prepared and competitive team. I have never driven the Porsche 996 GT3 RSR but I participated in the 6 hours of Vallelunga with a similar car; the Porsche Supercup and conquered the victory in our category. Therefore, I don’t think I’ll have any problems adapting to the car. My objective to help my team-mate Riccitelli (who is presently in third place) fight for the leading positions in our category: N-GT.

Our most fierce opponents will be without a doubt the leaders Chiesa and Kessel on board the Ferrari 360 Modena.

They will be two very intense and exciting races. I will be my best to bring Ebimotors and Porsche Haus to the top.”
