Audi driver Fredrik Ekblom has defended third place overall in the Championship with a sixth and eighth place finish in the Swedish Touring Car Championship’s (STCC) race at Karlskoga. Ekblom started from pole position in the second race, but was the victim of a barging match between his rivals at the first corner. The defending champion took up the chase from the back of the field and fought his way up to eighth place in his Audi A4 STCC.
