MSA Championships Update

ANICC McGrady Insurance MSA Northern Ireland Rally Championship
Round 7: Sunset Stages Rally, 4 November

Jonny Greer and co-driver Kirsty Riddick finished second on the Sunset Stages Rally at Nutts Corner to clinch the 2017 MSA Northern Ireland Rally Championship.

Their Citroen DS3 R5 ran faultlessly and the crew took a 0.3-second lead going into the tenth and final stage.

However Derek McGarrity and James O’Reilly snatched back time and took a three-second victory on the rally in their Skoda Fabia R5.

Derek McGeehan took his Mini WRC to third place, with Gareth Sayers in fourth. Alan Carmichael’s fifth place in the S14 Impreza helped the Ballymoney driver claim third in the championship.
