Fox Motorsport was established in Maldon, Essex, by Paul McNeilly in October 2010 and promptly took victory in its debut race; BTCC racer Paul O’Neill and BJ Chong joining McNeilly to win the Lotus 1000km at Brands Hatch.

The team has since risen through the motorsport ranks, recording class wins in the British GT Championship, International GT Open, 24H Series, Ginetta G55 Supercup, Ginetta GT5 Challenge, Lotus Cup UK, Lotus Cup Europe and GT Cup. In 2018 Fox were victorious twice in their maiden part-campaign in the 24H Series and were champions in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge Am class.

In 2019, Fox contested the 24H GT Series European Championship with an Audi R8 LMS GT4 finishing 2nd in the GT4 category, the British GT Championship with a Mercedes-AMG GT4 finishing 3rd in the pro/am category plus the Protyre Ginetta GT5 Challenge and Ginetta G40 Cup with multi-car line-up taking multiple class wins.
