Silverstone Auctions next sale is just under two weeks away as part of The Classic at Silverstone. The catalogue brings a number of unrepeatable, low mileage examples with unrepeatable opportunities and the UK classic car auction market leaders are now encouraging people to register to bid prior to the sale weekend.
Confirmed for the sale is Lot 659, a 1990 Unregistered Mini Cooper RSP (Delivery Mileage). This car is number 948 out of the 1,050 that stayed in the UK. Finished in British Racing Green with a white roof, this unrepeatable example has just 39 miles from new with four previous owners. It remains on its original tyres and still contains its original fluids; this is a truly exciting opportunity to own an unregistered, 31-year-old, showroom-fresh, limited edition Mini Cooper RSP which is estimated at £25,000 - £30,000.
In fabulous condition and absolutely ready to be enjoyed by its next owner is Lot 634, a stunning 2018 Ford GT. This left-hand drive, UK-supplied example is finished in Ingot Silver with a double alloy stripe and exposed gloss carbon fibre upgrade. With just 648 miles from new, this is a rare opportunity to own one of very few UK-delivered Ford GTs and it is estimated at: £540,000 - £580,000.
Gary Dunne, Sales Controller for Silverstone Auctions added “We are quite spoilt with how many low mileage examples we have going under the hammer in our flagship sale! The 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI 'Tommi Makinen Edition' UK Specification Chassis #001 has just 11,000 miles, as does the 2008 Land Rover Defender 90 SVX which has had just one owner from new and the 2010 Porsche 997.2 GT2 RS has covered less than 2,500 miles with its two owners. This is just some of the selection, you can now download our e-catalogue where you can view our full lot list in detail.”
Also heading to The Classic is this Lot 655, a 2014 Porsche 911 (991) 3.8 Martini Racing Edition (RHD). This is one of the rarest, modern-day Porsche special-editions and Silverstone Auctions are delighted and privileged to be offering this example in their next sale. Delivered new to a UK customer, this Martini Edition Carrera S was seldom driven and has been kept in virtually as-new condition, covering only 2,800 miles in total. This example remains in superb condition today and would make a great addition to any collection of rare Porsches. Estimated at £90,000 - £120,000.
The last low mileage example to be previewed is Lot 430, a 1993 Porsche 911 (964) Turbo S 'Leichtbau'. This is only one of 11 examples and is finished in a delightful Polar Silver with an exclusive Flamenco Red leather interior. With just 45 miles from new, this car is accompanied by its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and the normal manuals. It's effectively 'brand new', investment-grade quality and will appeal to every Porsche loving and collector, anywhere. Silverstone Auctions have guided this remarkable example at: £950,000 - £1,100,000.
Silverstone Auctions will start the auction weekend off with a motorcycle sale on Friday 31st July followed by an automobilia auction and their classic/competition car auction on both Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st August.
