No. 62 Risi Competizione Ferrari 296 GT3 has withdrawn from the 61st annual IMSA Rolex 24 At Daytona race due to floorboard damage caused by an earlier incident.

The No. 62 Ferrari was sent to the garage just before 11:00 p.m. when Pier Guidi complained about a vibration after being hit by a GTD car.

The Risi Competizione crew immediately went to work on diagnosing and addressing the issue. The mechanics removed the flooring, discovering several broken screws on the floor, and the entire floor was replaced. The car, with Pier Guidi back behind the wheel, was then sent back into the race. Unfortunately, the problem was great enough that the decision to withdraw was made just after the 12-hour mark.
