Radio Show Ltd, the team behind the hugely popular Radio Le Mans, is busy preparing for what has been rightly touted as the ‘Race of the Century’ – the 2023 instalment of the one and only Le Mans 24 Hours.
Marking the centenary year of the world’s oldest and most iconic active endurance race, no other event in global motorsport has such appeal with drivers, teams and, most importantly, the hundreds of thousands of fans trackside and millions more listening or watching at home worldwide.
24H Le Mans takes place over the weekend 10th/11th June at the world-famous Circuit de la Sarthe in France, with the Radio Le Mans build-up beginning a week earlier from the opening test day on Sunday, 4th June – the only live coverage of the first track sessions of this year’s event.
Back on air on Tuesday, 6th June, the broadcasts will run continuously until after the conclusion of the 24H Le Mans with every session of 24h action covered, including both of the Road to Le Mans support races.
The vastly experienced broadcast team, led by the inimitable John Hindhaugh, will provide first-class wall-to-wall narrative of the big race once again through http://player.radioshow.limited with Hindhaugh heading Radio Show Ltd’s coverage for an 18th year.
Radio Le Mans’ impeccable knowledge and experience doesn’t end there, with a crack team of broadcasters joining Hindhaugh including Jonny Palmer, Richard Craill, best known to fans for his work in Australian motorsport, Paul Truswell, Bruce Jones and decorated sportscar racer and Le Mans veteran Johnny Mowlem.
Providing all of the up-to-date info as it happens from the coal face of an unbelievably busy pitlane will be the exceptional team of Diana Binks, Nick Daman, Joe Bradley and Peter Snowdon, keeping fans abreast of every key moment.
Alongside the http://player.radioshow.limited portal, spectators trackside at the Circuit de la Sarthe will be able to tune in to all of the Radio Le Mans coverage at 91.2FM. Radio Le Mans will also be carried live across the USA on Sirius XM satellite radio.
