Great Britons are set to take centre stage at one of the UK’s most exciting and diverse classic car auctions of the year.
A total of 132 iconic classic cars will go under the hammer at H&H Classics’ auction at the famous Imperial War Museum, Duxford on 14th June, including nineteen Jaguars, fourteen Bentleys, seven Triumphs, four Lagondas and four Rolls-Royces – cars which truly epitomise the pinnacle of British design and engineering.
The strong line-up includes models spanning more than a century, and together have a combined pre-sale estimate of more than £4m. From exclusive vintage models to beautiful sports cars, the catalogue showcases the heights of automotive craftsmanship.

Historic motoring fans will be delighted to find no fewer than eight examples of a true icon of British automotive design and elegance, the Jaguar E-type, including an exhaustively restored 1964 4.2 Fixed Head Coupe, expected to command a price between £100,000 - £120,000. However, for those preferring a roadster, then a more accessibly guided 1971 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Roadster could be the ideal solution at £50,000 - £60,000.
Standout among the Jaguars on offer is the breath-taking 1936 Jaguar SS100 2.5 Litre Two-Seater Sports, which competed in the 1937 Monte Carlo rally, and won the RAC rally the same year. This exceptional vehicle is expected to be one of the most valuable cars on offer, with a pre-sale estimate of between £380,000 and £450,000.
Another notable British entry is a unique 1960 Bentley S2 Continental H.J. Mulliner Coupe. Customised by FLM Panelcraft to the special order of its first owner, Captain R.G. McLeod, this remarkable vehicle is instantly recognisable to Bentley aficionados the world over. Coming to market for the first time in decades, the McLeod S2 is expected to provoke spirited competition, with an estimated value of £170,000 to £220,000.
The auction will also feature a range of iconic and incredibly popular Triumph models, ranging from a fully-restored 1963 TR4, to one of just 8,370 Triumph TR6s built for the home market, plus a 1980 TR7 Convertible which, remarkably, has covered just 21,000 miles from new.
