Live TV for Porsche Supercup

The opening two races in the Porsche Supercup will feature live TV coverage and a record number of British drivers when the action starts in Bahrain this weekend (14/15 April).Both races will be screened live, with Saturday's opening race at 10.30am (UK time) on Eurosport, and Sunday's race at 9.45am (UK time) on Eurosport 2.British interest in the Supercup is running at record levels and six British drivers are expected on the grid in Bahrain, led by defending champion Richard Westbrook, the 2004 Carrera Cup GB champion. Damien Faulkner, Carrera Cup GB champion in 2005 and 2006, will start his first full Supercup campaign, while 2006 Carrera Cup GB pro-am champion Phil Quaife will also be there.With Tim Sugden, Richard Williams and Marc Hynes all due on the Bahrain grid, the British contingent will total six drivers. The two leading teams from the Carrera Cup GB will also be making a Supercup debut this weekend. Red Line Racing and Team Parker Racing have joined forces under the Team IRWIN SAS banner to enter cars for David Saelens and Hynes. Several team members, including Red Line boss Simon Leonard, flew straight to Bahrain after the Carrera Cup GB test day at Thruxton on Wednesday.
