At the end of the three events of the season organised by V de V Sports (The 6 Hours of Navarra, The 6 Hours of Paul Ricard and The 2 Tours d'Horloge), the Damien Kohler / José Da Rocha duo emerged victorious in the final general classification of the 2024 VHC V de V Endurance Challenge, which has 162 classified competitors.
Entered for the first two races of the year at the wheel of a Porsche 911 3.0 RS prepared by Team BERSI, the two drivers showed remarkable consistency and were always among the front-runners. Thanks to their 3rd place in the general classification (1st in the GTS3 category) in the 6 Hours of Navarra followed by their 2nd place in the general classification (1st in the GTS3 category) in the 6 Hours of Paul Ricard, the Damien Kohler / José Da Rocha crew was leading the provisional general classification of the VHC V de V Endurance Challenge before the final meeting, the 2 Tours d'Horloge, held on the Paul Ricard circuit on November 2 and 3. On the Provençal layout, Team BERSI entered a Porsche 964 for Damien Kohler / José Da Racha supported on this occasion by Miguel Langin and Jean-Jacques Renaut.
After a race full of twists and upsets, the crew of the no. 16 Porsche 964 came home 5th overall and 2nd in their category at the finish of the only event in the world reserved for Historic Competition Cars run over a period of 24 hours non-stop. A result that boosted the lead of Damien Kohler / José Da Roch in the final overall classification and confirmed their victory in the 2024 VHC V de V Endurance Challenge.
The Eric Wassermann/Olivier Huez crew at the wheel of their BMW 323 i prepared by the Wassermann Racing team climbed onto the second step of the podium. The two drivers won the Saloon Car category in the 6 Hours of Navarra and 6 Hours of Paul Ricard, before finishing 2nd in the SC in the 2 Tours d'Horloge with the support of Charles Veillard and Bert Smeets.
Completing the Top 3 was Armand Mille, who finished 3rd overall and 2nd in his category in the 6 Hours of Paul Ricard at the wheel of a Jaguar Type E prepared by Equipe Europe shared with Yves Scemama, which he followed up with 2nd place overall and 1st in the Sport Prototype 1 category in the 2 Tours d'Horloge in the Chevron B16 entered by Equipe Europe, also driven by its owner Didier Gruau as well as Julien Gruau and Pierre-Alain France.
