One truly remarkable Porsche going under the hammer is this 1993 Porsche 911 (964) Turbo S 'Leichtbau'. Finished in Polar Silver, this Porsche is enhanced by beautifully polished 18” Speedline alloys with Purple wheel centres and Gold callipers. This is one of only 11 supplied by Porsche Cars GB, one of only 86 in total and amazingly is showing 45 miles from new. This stunning UK right-hand drive car is an extremely important car and Silverstone Auctions will make every effort to accommodate interested parties for a private viewing. Estimated: £950,000 - £1,100,000.
Finished in a striking Tangerine with Black Leatherette and Corduroy trim is this 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS Touring (M472) RHD. This gleaming 911 is considered by many to be one of the greatest of all post-war road cars and was with its first owner for 34 years. This gleaming, low-mileage RST is a pure ‘collector-quality’ and is accompanied by a great history file. Included within this is the originally supplied Owners Handbook, the 2.7 RS Supplement and more remarkably the originally supplied service booklet. This is a truly rare opportunity to acquire a wonderful RST which is ultra-desirable and of investment grade quality. Silverstone Auctions have estimated this extremely astounding car at £700,000 - £800,000.
Gary Dunne Sales Controller for Silverstone Auctions added “We are now in the final week for entering your classic or competition car into The Classic Sale at Silverstone. Our three-day sale is set to be another standout catalogue, with a significant number of examples confirmed including these incredible Porsches.”
In superb condition and on offer from a private collection is this 1986 Porsche 911 (930) Turbo SE 'Flatnose'. This is one of only 49 genuine right-hand drive factory ‘Flatnose’ examples, it is finished in Guards Red with a Red-piped Cream leather interior as well as fitted with the correct colour-coded Fuchs wheels. With its original, matching-numbers engine and having covered just 69,711 miles, this is a very special car which is a blue-chip icon of its era and represents a very exciting opportunity for any lover of the Porsche marque. Estimated at £100,000 - £120,000.
Finished in a delightful Ivory with the interior classically presented in Claret and Cream is this 1972 Porsche 911T 2.4 . This example is a superbly restored 2.4-litre with an immaculate engine bay and such low mileage at 632 miles. This classic 911 is simply delightful and could be a contender at a club-level Concours event. The paperwork for this car lists five owners and has been owned by the same person twice. This is a very desirable, early 2.4T and Silverstone Auctions have guided this car at £90,000 - £100,000.
Gary Dunne Sales Controller for Silverstone Auctions continued, “These four Porsches previewed are just a handful of the high standard cars live on our website.
