So another event completed and now just the long drive home (well to the workshop) I would just like to thank everyone that's been involved to help me get this far and even more so to everyone that has made donations to help the children and their families
Gina and I will not give up on this so please keep a eye on whatever comes up. The donations, as I have always said, its not the amount it's the fact that it's touched you and made you aware.
Update 11th April: Neil Bainbridge reignites Desert Challenge for the Children, update
All the technical checks have now been completed. We have a drivers briefing at 11 am today and some more information to be gathered reference to the safety checks and the route we will be taking for the first day each day. The route is given to us by way of tulip chart This is not like an actual satnav.
It’s just a bunch of symbols and distances that we have to navigate via the distance and the symbol and Pickup electronic way points on the way. I will keep you updated on how we progress unfortunately my copilot has not been able to make it so I’m now on this Rally, by myself I guess that all adds to the fun please keep the donations coming in.
They make a huge help to the families and the children that this is all about

Here we go again but this time in the Raid class with a new truck.
So it was a lunch time on Friday 5th drive to Southampton ferry to Santander 32 hours off ferry at 8am on 7th and a non stop 1100 KLM drive to Almeria for the ferry I am sat on now heading to Nador should be off at 20:00 today then another 1100 or so Klm to Agadir meeting up with Henry and the Toyota on way.
Sounds like a easy trip.....
