No one captured the imagination of the British public quite like James Hunt. He earned many epithets in the day - playboy, partier, phenomenal talent and World Champion, but to Freddie Hunt, he was simply dad.

Freddie came by the showroom to chat about his father's legacy and spend time with M26-5, the final McLaren that James raced. 

 

Although McLaren M26-5 began the season with Hunt's teammate Patrick Tambay, rumour has it that Hunt suspected Tambay had the better car and demanded they swap halfway through the season.
