DKE & ARROW PRECISION

Racecar customer DKE Crankshafts have just been taken over by Arrow Precision. Arrow have a worldwide reputation for amongst other things - their connecting rods - presumably the takeover of DKE will result in an automotive engineering combine with a wider portfolio of products for the Race and Specialist Automotive industries.

"We are delighted to announce that we have taken over DKE Crankshafts.DKE has specialised in the manufacture of high performance crankshafts for over a quarter of a century, supplying many of the world’s top motor manufacturers, tuners and engine builders. The synergy between the two companies offers a great opportunity, DKE will now be known as Arrow (DKE Crankshafts).

Simon Osman, (formerly a director of DKE) will be working here at Arrow, he will be overseeing crank production and dealing with any technical issues. DKE have a large number of highly skilled engineers and we are proud to be taking them under our wing. Our plans are to re-locate DKE in a modern facility close to Arrow Precision in Hinckley. This will be completed in stages over the next 3 months. .We have every confidence that this will be beneficial to all involved, and we are delighted to be able to offer a new service into the marketplace."
