Rocketeers,
As the clocks fall back and the open-air driving days of this year come to an end, our design and engineering teams are focused on the development and production of next year’s clients’ cars.
We’ve recently delivered a bespoke Restomod to a notable automotive enthusiast. Collaborating closely with the client, we brought his unique vision to life – particularly within the interior, which is both distinctive and playful. The exterior maintains a subtle elegance in classic British Racing Green. Under the skin the carefully curated specification includes our Stage 2, 320hp Rocketeer V6 powerplant to ensure that it has the performance to match the Q-Car aspirations of the client.
Not long after this green marvel left our workshop, it took the spotlight in London, featuring in a late-night photoshoot and article with our friends at Classic Driver. The client captured the essence of the Rocketeer philosophy, stating:
“you can drive it faster than any big supercar. It gives you confidence in spades and it’s a car that works both in the countryside and city”.
Significantly adding...
“For less than a fifth of the price of my Singer….I get just as much pleasure from the Rocketeer!”

If, like Mikey Snelgar from Classic Driver, you “find yourself with a stronger urge than ever to find an MX5 of your own”, our Rocketeer MXV6 Mk1 is a similar specification. You can get in touch via our contact page or alternatively call us on 07941 060660 to make an appointment.
And for those who feel that 320hp isn’t quite enough, in my last update, I confirmed the first details of a special project we’re undertaking with a very discerning client. The concept is focused on weight reduction and performance optimisation to deliver the ‘ultimate’ Rocketeer and
arguably the ultimate driver’s car.
To achieve our targets of 375hp from the all-new Stage 4 powerplant and a curb weight of just 850kg, we’re incorporating advanced materials like titanium, aluminium, and even carbon ceramics to deliver supercar-level
performance. Yet, this car remains a road-focused machine, retaining comforts such as air conditioning, power steering, and a full leather interior – luxuries often sacrificed in stripped-down lightweight builds.
The car is now in build in our workshop, and the best part is that our client is excited to let others join in this exclusive project. We’re already preparing to build the second and third lightweight models. If the ultimate MXV6 – offering a power-to-weight ratio rivalling the world’s most exotic supercars and without the girth – sounds like it belongs in your garage, please reach out to discuss your vision.
On the topic of supercar performance, it was great to join the Supercar Festival at Mallory Park in the late summer. While primarily designed as a road car, the Rocketeer MXV6 is equally as happy on the track. Our Mk1 demonstrator turned heads and sparked plenty of curiosity in a pit lane filled with Ferraris, Lamborghinis and McLarens—especially after it left many of them in the dust, effortlessly lapping several on the circuit.
Interestingly, we’re seeing a lot of our Rocketeer clients now coming from sports and supercar ownership, frustrated with the anodyne single dimension of modern performance cars, and attracted by the analogue, pure driving experience of a Rocketeer.
So, if you’d like us to help you transform your car into a technical tour-de-force that prioritises analogue driving purity over inaccessible performance and statistics, please get in touch. We’d be delighted to hear from you.
