Since 1966 the Mini 7 Racing Club has been providing some of the most exciting racing seen on a British circuit. Despite being nearly 50 years old, the iconic classic Mini continues to put on a great show, with Motorsport News naming the Dunlop Mini Miglia Challenge as second only to British Touring Cars for their ‘2007 Championship of the Year’ award. There are two championships Mini Se7ens (1000cc) and Mini Miglias (1300cc) and within these championships a second class is run for the ‘S’ Class, which enables drivers to go racing on a limited budget. 2007 Champions Andy Hack (Miglia) and Max Hunter (Se7en) are both back to defend their crowns but as last season they will have to fight all the way as there are plenty of drivers capable of challenging for the 2008 titles, including the return of local hero and five times Mini Miglia champion Peter Baldwin.Round 1 will be Sponsored by the Delmonte Garage ,the Norwich based firm which specialises in servicing of all makes of vehicles and is an insurance company approved bodyshop. Wth trophies for each of the two races being sponsored by Brit Insurance. In total the 2008 season consists of ten races on nine of the top UK circuits; so let the games begin at Snetterton.
