We have just refreshed Petri's web site  - he is now racing in the US in USF2000 - and after a couple of rounds is leading the championship!

Petri looked at the good value the USF2000 series offered - together with the clear "Road to Indy" career progression USF2000 offered as part of the Indycar promotional package and bit the bullet and jumped on a plane.

Straightaway he has managed to deliver the goods and looks a strong title contender for 2011.

Petri has just arrived at Indianapolis for the next round of the series - to be held on Saturday 28th May.

Petri is one of 3 Finns that Racecar build sites for - Aaro Vainio and Kimi Raikkonen completing the trio. Petri has already attracted favourable comparisons to the Iceman:

"For me Petri Suvanto is the most motivated and dedicated driver from Finland. The 2006 Finnish Junior Championship that he won was very competitive and at fourteen Petri is already understanding technical issues.
