After a successful 2011 racing season, Venezuelan pilot Robert La Rocca will head to Brazil to compete in the F3 Brazilan Open event at the famed Interlagos Circuit. Competing at the same facility as the final round in the Formula One World Championship, La Rocca will do battle with drivers and teams from around the world in the hopes to stand atop the podium.

Leaving on Monday, January 9th, La Rocca will travel to Brazil to complete a private test with Hitech Racing Brazil on the 11th and 12th of the month. Though this will be his second time in an F3 car, La Rocca is familiar with Hitech Racing as he tested with their British team in England in late 2011. "I am extremely excited about this event," expressed La Rocca.

"I will be competing against drivers from the British, Italian, Spanish and Euroseries F3 series. If I do well, it could be a huge boost in my professional motorsports career."

The F3 Brazilian Open will take place on the January 20 - 22 weekend. With a total of four races over the weekend, La Rocca and his Hitech Racing Brazil squad will work together to stand atop the podium

La Rocca continued, "I think my events in 2011 as well as all the testing I completed for Ralph Firman Racing will help me in Brazil. I have learned throughout the year how to better setup my car and get the most out of each and every session. I am really working hard at this event and want to perform well."

While the rest of the 2012 racing season has yet to be announced, Robert La Rocca is working hard to put together the best possible program to help advance his career. For the remainder of January, his primary focus will be the F3 Brazilian Open and the opportunity to turn heads of industry members around the world.
