Suzuki is celebrating its 2016 Arenacross Championship title with a one-off, special 'Day of Champions' on Friday 10 June, inviting riders to a free day of instruction and practice with 2016 Arenacross Champion Thomas Ramette and his SR-75 Molson Suzuki teammate, Cyrille Coulon.
Taking place at centrally located Apex MX near Worcester, the day will give riders the opportunity to work on various elements of their riding, with Ramette and Coulon spending time focussing on everything from cornering to jumps and body positioning.
Team manager and former MXGP mechanic, Geoff Walker - who was responsible for setting up Ramette’s championship-winning RM-Z450 - will also be on hand to help riders with bike preparation and setup.
As well as plenty of track time available for riders on their own bikes, Suzuki’s range of RM-Z machinery will be available to demo, with special offers available to those that place orders on the day.
Suzuki GB Marketing Manager, Rob Cooper, said,“Following Thomas Ramette’s stunning win in the Arenacross series, as well as the SR75-Molson Suzuki victory in the team championship, we’re delighted to be able to announce our Day of Champions. It’s a great opportunity to ride with and get some expert instruction with those that do this sport for a living, and are at the very top of their game, having also recently competed in the super-competitive AMA Supercross series. It’s also a good excuse to try the latest offerings in the RM-Z range, with both the new 250 and award-winning RM-Z450 available to demo. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone who comes along, and welcoming riders regardless of what bikes they currently own.”
Apex motocross track can be found off junction six of the the M5, Tibberton, Worcester, WR4 0AA.
Riders are encouraged to show that they are attending by registering on Facebook, here.
