Round 3/Lausitzring Eurospeedway, Germany/4-5 June 2016
SA’s Jonathan Aberdein keen to show what he’s got
Cape Town’s Jonathan Aberdein is out to impress as he builds on his ADAC German Formula 4 racing momentum at the third round of the championship at the Lausitzring 4-5 June, especially considering that the single-seater class shares the bill with the premier DTM German Touring Cars that weekend.
“I’m very exited to be racing alongside the Prestigious DTM championship, it is a fantastic opportunity to show my talent,” the former karting star explained.
Rookie Jonathan has impressed with his progress over the first two rounds, following his positive, if difficult debut at Oschersleben up with a trio of top-ten finishes at the Sachsenring. Now following positive testing, Aberdein is ready for the next step forward: “Our last few test days have been very positive — we are looking good for a top 5 finish at Lausitz…”
The challenging Lausitzring Eurospeedway offers a broad range of challenges with high speed sections interspersed with tight, twisty corners and a fair number of medium-pace aspects. Follow Jonathan’s progress live via streaming and live timing at www.adac-motorsport.de/adac-formel-4.
