Bentley Boy Pepper aiming for good Lausitzring ADAC GT Masters points

South Africa’s Bentley Boy Jordan Pepper intends turning his impressive pace of late into some solid points at the third round of the German ADAC GT Masters series at the Eurospeedway Lausitzring Eurospeedway 4-5 June.

Pepper who shares the Number 9 ABT Bentley Continental GT3 with German gentleman racer Andreas Weishaupt had a tough time of it at the previous race at the Sachsenring after being held up by a Safety Car mix-up in the first heat before the Bentley was sidelined when Weishaupt left the track after Jordan handed the car to him is sixth position in the second race…

“Going into Lausitzring, obviously I’m really looking forward to it,” Jordan admitted. “Its been a month since I was last in the car, which also raced in the Nurburgring 24-hour, so the team will be busy and the guys will sure have everything sorted come Friday free practice at the Eurospeedway.

“I really like Lausitzring, although I have not yet been there in the Bentley so we’ll have to see how it goes. “ADAC GT is such a tough championship — I need to make sure I get everything together come qualifying and race day, but I’ve put in a lot of effort and I am 110% ready, so now it’s just making sure I go out and do the best I can…”

So let’s see where we are come Friday afternoon in qualifying — I’m sure we will be right up there.”

Lausitzring is a challenging circuit with several challenges for car and driver with high speed sections; daunting mid-pace aspects and tight, twisty corners all coming together to present a unique Eurospeedway challenge.
