PHILO PAZ ARMAND
Young Indonesian rookie Philo Armand started his Grand Prix of Monaco in a positive fashion in qualifying, cruising to a 17th spot for the start of the feature race. His drive was clean and precise, and he brought the car back to the pits in perfect conditions with no mistakes made. Armand then started the race with soft tires so he could stay on-track for as much time as possible. Unfortunately, he got a little too much wheelspin at the start which cost him some positions. Philo delivered a good comeback in the end, finishing in P16.

LUCA GHIOTTO
Luca Ghiotto also delivered a great result in Thursday’s qualifying. Then, after taking off from the 10th place, he quickly improved his position with a clean start by gaining one spot at the Saint Devote corner. As opposed to his team-mate, the strategy was to start with super soft tires on and opt for an early pit-stop on lap 7. The decision was a winning one as Luca had the chance to run in clean air and made up three more spots to virtually enter the top-10.His race came to a bitter ending with five laps to go though, as the #15 Trident car, about to attack Antonio Giovinazzi, suffered an engine issue that forced Luca to retire. It was a disappointing ending considering that the pace was great and a front row for the Sprint Race was all but secured.
