Low qualifier Bruno Bader scored a scintillating victory at Santa Pod with a five-second win over Michael Gullqvist.

Eliminations followed qualifying form with the top four qualifiers reaching the semi-final.

Among other competitors, Philip Englefield and Kevin Slyfield achieved distinction with career-best performances during qualifying and eliminations, both reaching the second round.
