The third round of ADAC GT Masters is likely to be the greatest of the entire season: ADAC GT Masters and DTM,  the two most popular German motorsport series, has electrified the “Motorsport Festival Lausitzring”.

The Brandenburg circuit represents a real tradition in the ten-year-old series history. In fact, this circuit has been part of the series schedule since the first edition and it is also famous for its particular layout which tends to level out the drivers’ performances. 25 drivers, representing 8 car manufacturers, won in the 18 previous races. What is also extremely important is that the two Qualifying Sessions were both raced, for the first time in the season, on Friday and they were only ten minutes one after the other. In the first session, which determined Race 1 starting grid, Florian Spengler immediately joined the track on his car no. 32 reaching the twenty-sixth place. Patrick Kujala, on his Huracàn no. 3 car, placed seventeenth at less than one second from the pole position.

Race 1 started in a beautiful summer day and both Bonaldi Motorsport crews were brilliant protagonists. Kujala immediately recovered two positions and fought against the championship leader, De Philippi, during all his stint. Spengler recovered positions constantly till leaving his car to Zonzini just before the first twenty
