Hillspeed welcoming British F3 racer enquires

AS CHAMPIONSHIP PREPARES FOR EAGERLY AWAITED OVERSEAS TRIP TO SPA

Multiple race winning and title winning motor racing team Hillspeed is extending an invitation for drivers to get in touch who may be interested in contesting the upcoming blue-riband event of the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship season, next month’s visit to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

Providing the perfect opportunity for racers to enjoy key experience at one of the globe’s highest profile circuits, the sixth event of the British F3 campaign on 8th/9th July is undoubtedly the most eagerly awaited of the 2016 calendar.

In addition to drivers looking to get a taste of British F3 with a view to a full campaign in 2017, the overseas visit to Belgium also comes at the perfect time for competitors from the FIA Formula 3 European Championship and GP3 Series to gain extra track knowledge.

Both pan-European categories will head to Spa after British F3, the FIA F3 series will visit in late July and GP3 will travel there in August, so rounds 16, 17 and 18 of the UK category’s season should prove attractive to those looking to get maximum seat time in readiness.

“Spa is an incredible circuit and somewhere every driver needs to visit”, said Hillspeed team principal Richard Ollerenshaw, “We’re talking to drivers about coming in specifically for Spa and extending an invitation for any others to get in touch to take advantage of the packages we have available.

“It’s a prime opportunity for FIA F3 and GP3 Series drivers to get some important seat time in race conditions ahead of their respective championship visits too, so we’d welcome any enquiries from those guys – there’s no substitute for genuine race mileage, particularly at the level of F3 and GP3.”

Any competitors wishing to get in touch with Hillspeed regarding deals for the Spa race weekend and, indeed, the remainder of the 2016 season should contact Richard Ollerenshaw on +44 (0)7966 650400 or email info@hillspeed.co.uk
