Simply Japanese at Beaulieu

MORE THAN 35 CAR CLUBS AT BEAULIEU FOR SIMPLY JAPANESE

More than 35 car clubs are booked to take part in Simply Japanese at Beaulieu on Sunday 31st July for the fifth gathering of hundreds of fascinating vehicles from the land of the rising sun.

Among the owners clubs and members groups showcasing members’ cars in the grounds of the National Motor Museum are the RX8 Owners Club, Skyline Owners Forum, GTR Owners Club, Japanese Performance Owners Club, Micra Sports Club and Z Club. From high-performance sports cars and affordable roadsters to economical city runabouts and luxury saloons, a rich variety of machines will be on show.

Individuals and owners clubs alike are welcome to take part in the event, which is open to cars and commercial vehicles from every Japanese marque, including Mazda, Honda, Suzuki, Nissan, Lexus and Subaru. Just drive into the event and park up with like-minded owners, enjoy all of the features of the Beaulieu attraction and have a great day out.

Event-goers will show their appreciation of their favourite show car by voting for the People’s Choice Award. The owner of the vehicle with the most votes will be presented with a commemorative Beaulieu trophy and a special Autoglym prize, before leading a cavalcade of the most popular cars through the Beaulieu attraction.

For rally participants displaying their Japanese vehicle as part of the event, tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 per child and can be bought on arrival or in advance at https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-japanese/. Entry into the Beaulieu parkland for participants is from 9am, when the Brabazon Restaurant will be serving hot and cold drinks and breakfast snacks. All other attraction visitors should enter Beaulieu through the Visitor Reception building, which is open from 10am.

For Japanese car clubs wishing to book a club stand, contact the Beaulieu Events team at least two weeks before the event on 01590 614614 or at events@beaulieu.co.uk. Friends who want to park up together at the show must all arrive together.

Admission to the event includes entrance to the whole Beaulieu attraction. Don’t miss the National Motor Museum’s new Driving Change display, which explores motoring innovations, technology and safety throughout history and makes motoring predictions for the future. Visit On Screen Cars and the World of Top Gear, take a stroll around the Palace House which has been home to the Montagu family since 1538 and the 13th century Beaulieu Abbey and grounds.

Simply Japanese is just one event in Beaulieu’s 2016 Simply rally line-up, which also includes Simply Bikes, Simply Land Rover and Simply Smart. For the full list of Simply rallies and other Beaulieu events, see www.beaulieu.co.uk/events or follow @Beaulieu_Hants on Twitter.
