MSA British Superkart Championship: Round 5: Donington Park, 17 July

This weekend sees rounds 8, 9 and 10 taking place on the National circuit at Donington Park. Jack Layton of Parker Motorsport tops the table with three wins so far this season and will be looking to extend his advantage.

However, reigning champion Gavin Bennett won at the previous round during the Grand Prix event and would like to add to that success.

UK Cup holder Dan Clark lies third in the championship and will also be looking to add to his win tally, having been on the top step of the podium on three occasions this season. Ross Allen and James Hassall cannot be ruled out of the equation while 2009 MSA Superkart Champion James O’Reilly has shown some good pace this year and is chasing his first win in the series.
