DAYTONA MOTORSPORT BUCKS BRITAIN'S EU TREND WITH EXCITING NEW FRENCH DELIVERYGreat Britain might be preparing to leave the European Union, but Daytona Motorsport remains firmly committed to the continent – having just taken delivery of a brand new fleet of Sodi RT8 390cc karts from France. This €1million investment will see 35 state-of-the-art karts rolled out at each of Daytona Motorsport’s venues, with the first batch having already arrived at Daytona Sandown Park. This will be followed by forthcoming deliveries at Daytona Manchester – which recently introduced its new Sodi LR5 Cadet karts – and Daytona Tamworth later this month. Daytona Milton Keynes – whose current fleet is the youngest of the four Daytona Motorsport circuits – will follow suit in early 2017.The industry-leading Sodi RT8 390cc karts replace the popular Sodi RT8 fleet launched in 2014, again mating Honda’s excellent GX390cc four-stroke engine to Sodi’s superb chassis design to provide an exciting and reliable drive with speeds exceeding 50mph. “Here at Daytona Motorsport, we pride ourselves on offering our customers the very best, from the facilities to the driving challenge and of course the karts themselves,” said Daytona Motorsport Director, Jim Graham.“Sodikart is one of the most well-established and respected brands in the karting world, with their products regularly winning races and championships all around the globe, so it was a no-brainer for us to renew our contract with them. They can be used for all exclusive races, open races and arrive-and-drive sessions – and they are ready and waiting for you!”
