Round 5 : Maasmechelen, Belgium, 16-17 July
Dan Rooke continued his incredible run of form in his maiden Supercar season by dominating the fifth round of the series at Maasmechelen in Belgium.
Rooke led the entire weekend through the qualifying races, semi-finals and final to claim victory and extend his lead to 21 points in the championship. Five-time champion Julian Godfrey finished second, with Irishman Ollie O’Donovan coming out on top of a final battle with Pat Doran to claim the last podium place.
Championship contender Kevin Procter crashed out of the event in Q2. Tony Lynch won the MSA Supernational Rallycross Championship final in his Ford KA.
