Daniel Zampieri ready for Spa 24hr

Spa, described by many as the university of the drivers, the Belgian track is situated between the ups and downs in the Ardennes forest and is the ideal setting for one of the longest races of the season.

Valid for the ranking of the Blancpain Endurance Cup, this event will be giving away a lot of points. Apart from the award after the 24hr are also intermediate stages every 6 hours which offer a great opportunity for Daniel Zampieri and his partners.

The programm starts Tuesday with the tests booked for the bronze category, while on Wednesday is the parade of the drivers: they will drive their racing cars around the streets of Spa. This will give the public a close up opportunity to see the racing cars.

Thursday will be an intense day, starting at 1.20 pm with free practices followed at 5.45 pm with pre-qualifying races.

The best part of the programme runs from 8.00 pm to 00.00 am - the night rounds that will establish the start grid. The first 20 will qualify for Super Pole, taking place at 6.00 pm on Friday.

A short warm up at 9.05 am on Saturday to tune up the cars ready for the start of the race at 4.30 pm.

Daniel Zampieri: "Spa is a fantastic track, with the bends of Eau Rouge and Radillon that test very well the capacities of every driver. It Is always very attractive to drive on this track and the 24h depicts an incredible opportunity. The unknown of the night and the weather, historically unforeseeable, make this race unique. It will be the fourth 24h of my career, I really want to get into the car and do the best I can."
