Bonaldi Motorsport is looking forward to a successful weekend at the mythical Nurburgring, host of the next round of the ADAC GT Masters.
Nordschleife, which is more than 20 kilometres long and with more than seventy curves, is considered one of the most challenging racetrack of the motorsport. Its nickname is in fact “grüne Hölle”, which means green hell. It is impossible to forget the terrible accident to Niki Lauda in 1976, the engaging challenges of the ETCC, the 1000-Kilometre-races or the 24Hours that are raced there today.
The GT cars of the German championship are competing this weekend on the new circuit which is now 3,629 metres long. It looks like an easy racetrack but it requires a difficult design compromise between a slow section and another one composed by long straights. Weather could complicate the races as it is often extremely changeable and unpredictable.
Milos Pavlovic: "I can’t deny that we are not placed where we would have liked to be at this point of the season but I am still confident. We worked hard to improve our performance and to fight and place in the higher positions in the standings. Up to now Balance of Performance and the situations did not help us. Besides, the bad luck prevented us to get some satisfactions we gained on the racetrack. We hope we solved our problems and we now have a solid foundation on which perform better during next races."
The weekend schedule is the following: Free Practice on Friday, August 5th at 12.40 p.m., at 1.45 p.m. Junior/trophy round, at 4.20 p.m. the second round. Qualifying Practice 1 are scheduled on Saturday, August 6th at 9.10 a.m. while Race 1 is at 1:15 p.m. On Sunday, August 7th Qualifying Practice 2 is at 9.15 a.m. while Race 2 is scheduled at 1.15 p.m. To watch live our team, live streaming is available on both ADAC GT MASTER and Bonaldi Motorsport official websites.
