Isaac Tutumlu heads to Germany to contest round five of the ADAC GT Masters to be held at Nürburgring.
The Car Collection Motorsport driver, sharing the Audi R8 LMS with South African Kelvin van der Linder, is feeling quietly optimistic ahead of the event taking place in the Eiffel Mountains.
Unlike Oschersleben, Sachsenring, Lusitzring and Red Bull Ring, Nurburgring isnt a new race track for Tutumlu, and has traditionally been a good track for him, so he expects a competitive weekend.
Tutumlu:“I was looking forward to competing at the Nürburgring because I won´t start from scratch this time. It is a shorter layout than usual but only a corner changes. Considering my experience at Nürburgring competing in series such as the International GT Open and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, we look forward to a promising weekend."
The only Spanish driver in the series adds “Our Audi wasn´t at its best at the Red Bull Ring as it involved top speed and torque, I´m sure we will make a qualitative leap pretty soon. Besides, Dennis Busch joins Christopher Haase in the second Car Collection-entered Audi. Dennis is a Nürburgring specialist, so he will help us to make even quicker progress with set-up."
Both 60-minute long races will take place at 13.15 on Saturday and Sunday.
