ADACT GT Masters race 2 which was characterised by a sudden downpour,
Kujala and Pavlovic ended the race on the tenth, the last one to gain points. Spengler and Zonzini forced to drop out...
Extremely difficult weather conditions with rain, wind and darkness accompanied Qualifying Practice for Race 2 in Zandvoort.
The Bonaldi Motorsport drivers, Milos Pavlovic in the Lamborghini Huracán no. 3 car and Florian Spengler in the no. 32 clocked more or less the same time at the start of qualifying which placed them in middle of the line-up. Spengler performed better in the following two laps while Pavlovic did his best on the fourth. Meanwhile, rain became heavy and it was impossible to improve the results. At the end Bonaldi finished the session with a good team result.
Race 2 was welcomed by the sun but started in more demanding conditions than usual: Pavlovic had to defend himself from continuous attacks by Engelhart and from the “very close” attack by Zanella during the first lap. Ten minutes into the race, the safety car was out because of an accident behind the front line.
Pavlovic was ninth with Spengler sixteenth. At this point an unexpected heavy downpour hit the racetrack. Pavlovic went back to the pit to change to rain tyres. Spengler went on to race behind the safety car. When the race started again, the German driver was ninth and the Serbian was down to the eighteenth position but, even if the rain was less heavy, the racetrack was wet and this allowed him to recover some positions.
By the middle of the race when the racetrack was becoming drier, Spengler unfortunately ended in the sand. Pavlovic performed a good recovery. A new safety car shelved the race for some minutes. When the race started again, Kujala was fifteenth: after few laps, the fast Finnish driver was twelfth and during the last lap he was in tenth and in the points.
