Italian team back in ELMS with Lacorte / Sernagiotto on the Ligier JS P3 Nissan
Scuderia Villorba Corse gets back on track after the summer break for the fourth round of the European Le Mans Series, to be held on the Paul Ricard circuit from August 26 to 28. Italian team led by Raimondo Amadio will take part in the 4 Hours of Le Castellet with racing drivers Roberto Lacorte and Giorgio Sernagiotto behind the wheel of the Ligier JS P3 Nissan. Aiming to a positive result in the LMP3 category and working hard on performances, Italian crew tested on the French track just before the international event which will host 40 cars, 20 of them in the LMP3 class. The weekend will kick off with two 90-minute free practice sessions followed by qualifying, scheduled on Saturday at 12h50, and by the endurance race, scheduled on Sunday at 14h00.
Team Principal Amadio says; “We are back on one of our most favourite track where we worked very hard during the week. We tested for 400 kilometres collecting useful technical and setup data so we are ready to start our racing weekend. We know very well that this second part of the LMP3 season will be intensive and even more demanding”.
