Always among the youngest in the category at 11, Suleiman travelled in mid-August to the Speedworld circuit near Vienna for an international competition leading to the 2016 Euro Finale Mini Max, bringing together drivers from over 30 different countries.

In the Mini Max category open to 10-14 year olds he was on a Tony Kart for the team Lotus Racing Karts.

Starting 9th in the Prefinal for Mini Max using small chassis, Suleiman moved up to 4th place on the finish line after a big attack. He kept the right rhythm for the 17 laps of the Final and fought to the end to clinch 3rd position which put him on the podium.

The top five of the international competition included a Belgian, a Finn, a Moroccan, a Ukrainian and a Dutchman.
