GP2 Round 9 post Feature Race penalties

Three penalty notices were handed down following Saturday afternoon's feature race in Monza, with Arthur Pic receiving the most serious of them in the form of a 3 grid position drop for Sunday's sprint race after being judged to have caused a collision with Sergio Canamasas, which brought an end to both drivers' races and prompted the safety car period.

Jimmy Eriksson was also handed a 5 second time penalty for forcing another driver off the track: the Swede locked up into turn 1, resulting in Marvin Kirchhöfer running wide to avoid a collision.

Finally, Sean Gelael was given a 10 second stop and go penalty for failing to slow for double yellow flags after setting his fastest sector times during the Safety Car period: because he crossed the line on track more than twice and failed to serve the earlier penalty, the Indonesian was shown the black flag
