Round 8: Robin Jager Trial, 11 September

Roland Uglow travelled all the way from Cornwall to Cumbria with passenger Laura Wilks to win the opening trial of the second half of the sporting trials season.

Conditions were extremely dry on the steep hillside with Uglow dropping just six points over the four rounds.

Simon Kingsley was best of the rest with nearly double Uglow’s score at eleven, ahead of Richard Sharp who won the intermediate class from Boyd Webster in fifth.
