Singapore hosts the next TCR International Series round and Romeo Ferrari is ready to re-join the field of the top Touring Series, in the framework of the F.1 Grand Prix. Marina Bay will be the second of three events scheduled by TCR with the most famous single-seater championship in the world. As in the previous round, Romeo Ferrari is supporting Mulsanne Racing, with only one Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR for Petr Fulìn, as Michela Cerruti is not fully fit. The Italian driver has recovered from the kidney problem she suffered, but is still weakened by antibiotic treatment. To fit in the best way to Formula 1 schedule, the program is planned on three days, with Free Practice on Friday, Qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday and Race 2 on Sunday. The special moment will be on Saturday, with Race 1 starting at sunset and the chequered flag waved in darkness.
Claudio Borotletto, Team Manager “We are sorry that Miki can’t be with us in Singapore, but our priority is her wellness. Singapore has really high temperatures and over 80% humidity, conditions that would have not suited her still not perfect physical condition. From the technical point of view, it will be interesting to see how we’ve improved on a different track than Buriram. Here we have long straights and slow chicanes, and walls are sudden trial, which have also involved Formula 1 drivers, so we expect some safety-cars during races”.Timetable
