Round 7: PF International 23-25 September 2016

Harry Thompson sealed the British Cadet Kart title after dominating at PF International.

Runner-up and the rest were up for grabs but a heat penalty for Bray Kenneally took him out of contention for vice champion. Joseph Taylor’s third place in Final 1 kept him second, despite a DNF from a terminal spin in Final 2 whilst fighting for third.

Thompson somehow snatched the first final win on the last corners, leapfrogging Georgi Dimitrov and Rattican, Dimitrov falling to fifth. Thompson pulled off another stunning winning move over the bridge in the second final, having led off the start, had to give way to Rattican then outwitted Dimitrov on the last lap. Kenneally recovered to take third.
