Round 6: Trackrod Forest Stages, 1 October

Sam Bilham took the championship lead on the penultimate round of the season, the Trackrod Forest Stages.

Jody Bowcott won the hotly contested E5 class after Boyd Kershaw rolled on the first stage. In class E4 previous championship leader Cameron Davies lost out to Bilham, after his driveshaft snapped in the Cropton stage.

Class E3 for cars up to 1600cc was won by the experienced Barry Jordan and James Gratton-Smith in their Avenger. Meanwhile the father and son partnership of Jordan and Paul Hone were dominant in class E2 to claim their third maximum score as the championship reaches its finale.
